Last week I have visited a ROTAX works in Austria. By chance had a possibility to speak to people who was also responsible for manufacturing the 1125 engine. They also regret about BUELL has been shut down.

Though I have no Buell yet and I like XB model more than 1125 it was nice to be close to the Buell history and people who were making it.

So I could not help buying a couple of trifles from ROTAX. Feels good to have at least somthing that relates to Buell.

Unfortunately I it was not allowed to make pics inside the plant.

It was so exciting to be so close to the assemly line with the BIG poster named 1125 but so painful to see it stopped and inoperative.

Click Image. Then copy and paste the links you posted into the pop up box. I already did it before I noticed that you replied [smirk]

Thanks a billion Dallas:)!!!

It's just my first steps in making my own thread in BuellXB.

By the way you got a way nice "Hero Blue '06 XB9SX" [up]

Good luck!

No problem man. How was the factory tour? Did you get to see where they used to make the 1125 motors?

Dallas, man, the factory tour was awesome! [up]
In fact I was there in business trip relating the other engines which are made for BRP: 'Sea-Doo', 'Can-Am' and 'Ski-Doo' "toys". The guide has shown us the whole manufacturing process [cool]. from Crankshaft machinning to Cylinder Head assembly [up] .

So I was just walking near to the '1125' assembly line which was still not taken away from there. I have stopped there to make a couple of deap breath while my heart was beating like a '6 300 RPM Piston'. It was the next line to BMW Bikes (single cylinder) engines assembly line. Thus different engines are assembled in one huge building.

I wish I could have that "magic button" to start the 1125 line again.

It was an unforgettable trip round the ROTAX works...

Thats really cool Sonderman. You should have grabbed some stators while you were in there. There are alot 1125 owners that need them. Cool stuff you got too. [up]

Hi Paul,

By the way my name is almost the same:)
In Ukrainian language it sounds like Pavlo and in Russian like Pavel (We speak both). Has the same roots.

Now I realize that I should have warned you before my visit to Rotax in order to make this visit useful. ;)

Hope to correct my mistake during my next visit. Sure if it will be :D

By the way your 2010 'Stang GT is a pretty good match to your Buell 1125 CR. Horse to Horse - Pony to Pegasus.

Best of luck and thanks for your comment[up]

That is neat! I love going through factory tours, its amazing what the manufactures go though to make a product.
