Belt Dive

can some one tell me the tooth count on a 06 Lightning SS. or at least point me in the right direction. i have had no success on my own. thanks in advance

What do you need to know the tooth count for?

Not sure on the count by the way.

'05 and newer are the same -

front pulley - 27
rear pulley - 65

the belt is starting to tear and i am looking to get one on ebay and i want to make sure i get the correct one. by the way i registered here yesterday and am already impressed. i should have expected it because i am associating with buellers. thanks

the belt has is 128 tooth also. Prior to that they had 135 or something like that but switched back to the 128's that are on the sportster and tubers, get the newest belt you can. Figure out why your is fraying too.

thanks ophawk. it started with the thread of fabric you can see on the profile of the belt splitting. now the same area has developed in to a crack in the rubber. thanks again for your help. cheers
