best air intake when i get ride of my side panels

am getting ride of the bulky side panels and need to buy a air intake any suggestions

dont really want to go all out and get a top of the line one but dont want anything cheap

Got a screaming eagle on mine, I dont know if its the best by any means, but I personally dont like the look of the forcewinder style snorkels pointing forward like some wierd horn. Think alot of peole on here use them though...

haha yes i have a 99 X1 lightning and want to get rid of the side panels also i noticed the sensor in there were does that go after you take them off.
i was alos thinking of just making my own intake instead of buying one. thoughts ideas complaints haha thanks
