I like to listen to music most of the time while riding. I'm currently using Skullcandy earbuds and they work pretty well, but I'm now considering helmet speakers. My recent change to a flip helmet has created extra wind noise that is not blocked sufficiently. 2 speakers that review well are Tork X-Pro and XSound2. Anyone have experience with these or would you recommend other brands? Sometime down the line I'll get set-up with BT (not a priority).

Im a fan of my Nolan helmet (WebBikeWorld's Helmet of the Year 2010 - N90) and their N-Com system. The nice thing about their system is that they were made with each other in mind. The electronics and speakers pop in to the helmet and I can listen to music from my phone or MP3 player via bluetooth. Another plus is that can answer phone calls with a quick push of a button. I saw Nolans new N104 at the Indy Expo this past feb. which also seems like a great helmet.

I'm in the market for speakers too this is going to be my blue tooth should be good for my music and GPS from my phone. Its small enough it should fit in the helmet under my padding in the back. If it doesn't I plan on having it Velcroed right by my chin/cheek.

I have a scala rider g4 now but before I used jvc marshmallows.

FWIW I used them (earbuds) once on a long ride 500 miles + highway, listening to music while riding is a bad idea, and takes all the enjoyment out of hearing the vtwin growl and hearing the sounds that should be more important than your new favorite song.

I have a scala rider now for communicating with a person I ride with not music or answering calls.

I enjoy hearing the thumping of the motor over listening to music.

I ride with a Scala Rider G9. I love it, very convenient and easy to use. Great for riding with my buddy who also has one. Much easier to simply call over the intercom for change in directions, emergency stops, or just misc information like "watch out for that car!", than to try to wave each other down with hand signals and high beams.

Look up Sony Ericson blue tooth on amazon. It costs about 45 bucks and works well. You can plug your favorite ear buds in it, which is awesome. Only drawback is the volume button.
