How am I wrong this time?

I think it's board consensus that your always wrong… Unless Barrett AKA “Lunatic” gives you the Chuck Norris…

What bike did you have one on disturbed?

I had it on my HD 1989 FXSTS Springer Softail. Which I still own today, but the Hypercharger is in a box somewhere stored in my garage. Just waiting for it to be cool again… Maybe it’s time… (I cannot confirm or deny that you are right… "It is cool" But am secretly cheering for you… "It is cool" If you pull yours out I’ll pull mine out… "Then we can be cool together")

I saw the slots on mine and at first thought the OP did it to increase airflow

The slots are for if the diaphragm fails and closes the butterflies, so the motor doesn’t choke out and die. Essentially it is a filtered open intake with a “cool” flappy thing.

it's gotta shake at idle

I don't think that it is the car shaking, but your pavoninin response to a beer can being opened somewhere in the world…

And by the way. I like to run my Elco’s topless… (Circa da 80’s)

Yes, I'm on the left with the mullett.... (It's 34nineteen cool.)

Cool and me parted ways long ago. If anyone’s gonna carry that torch, it’s you.

And yeah, I’m often wrong. I like to redirect it onto others to save face, but that’s my reality. My first tuber M2 had a hypercharger on it
