Bike died =( i think its the fuel pump unless this sounds like something else...

ok so the pump is still running but its very quiet. I rode my bike for like 30-40 min yesterday and stopped for gas and it wouldnt start (fuel pump running but very quiet). I let it cool off for another 20-30 min and then got it going and rode it another 15-20 min and then let it cool off and it wouldnt start at all. Makes sense to me that its the fuel pump. what does it sound like to you guys?

Sounds like the same problem I am having. Although I have changed the fuel pump and it is quieter, and a bit easier to start after riding for a bit. Mine takes a bit of finesse to get it to start after I ride. So now I am leaning towards regulator or injectors.

Got of the phone with a guy who is a buddy of my father in law. After telling him the symptoms of my bike he suggested doing the intake manifold checking for leaks with carb cleaner spraying around to see if the bike runs different. No leaks for me, the other thing he seemed to think would be my coils going bad. I did notice after buying my bike the coils had one bolt missing and the other being loose. I think it put strain on the coils. So i just picked up so good ones on ebay and I will report back if I have anymore problems once they arrive.

Usually when the fuel pumps goes bad it goes really bad. Symptoms are blowing fuses after 10-15 minutes, and irregular fueling issues
