Bike is coughing and throwing code 16

It finished charging and was at like 13.5
When I started it it when down to about 11
Cam back up to 13.8 and then at 3000 it was 14.0

That's is perfect

let it sit for about an hour so it settles back to about 12.7 volts then check it

it was at 12.78 before i started it.
turning it on it droped to 10.50
then came right back up to 12.7

when i just tried to start it it was really slow. almost like it did not want to start. it jumped to start then do anything after that then when to try and turn over.

did it do this again?

imo you have a loose or corroded connection somewhere.one of the ground points,positive connection at the starter or battery,start switch,ecm connector,or ign relay.

once you get ecm spy you can monitor the voltage to the ecm.

So I have had the bike out all night and only once after a 15 min ride it started to cough.
I turned it off and came back 5 min later. It started right up and didn't do it again. It does feel a little hesitant. Code 16 aside what could it be. I check spark plugs and they were clean and put fuel injector cleaner it. The bike was sitting for a little. And it idle around 1100

not sure. i mean its an 08 with 5,000 on it. the guy said he doesnt ride it anymore cause of kids and stuff

ok so i was able to get ecmspy hooked up today and working. It took me all day but i finally figured everything out. Checked for codes and it said no codes are there..soo i turned the exhaust valve and reset everything and it so happend the my check engine light turned off...lol. we will see how long that will last. hopefully everything is fine now.
