I just changed my levers out to Ride It levers and noticed the bike keeps stalling out when downshifting to 2nd or 1st.... is this common, did i make a mistake?

Aftermarket products are limited when it comes to Cretain Bikes.Welcome to the Forum! Now Small Things First/ did it work good no problems Before you did your Mod on the Buell you have? Check your Old Clutch Lever with the New one. ARE they the same. The Clutch Safety Switch is up on the Clutches Perch make sure the Small pin is not pushed in TOO far bent chipped off or not enough when Downshifting. You can Always Put on the old clutch Lever then take it for a ride see if that solves your problem before you go on to another step. If you need to [check out] the Forums Mods Section where ther are some helpfull hints about changing to aftermarket products. Daves DIY videos all in one thread may get you in the right direction. Also some of the People on the Forum have some Videos on You Tube. Just go and put in Buell mods or Buell Clutch Lever mods OR something and hope that gets you in the right direction. Take your time you will get it.!*Jimi;)

Now that you mention it, the clutch safety pin looks like its chipped off!!... is that bad? hahah

If it is not to worry the Dealer isn't too high on that part. American Sportbike .com has those parts as well. the part is pretty tough being it is right up there on the perch and gets hammered here and there. Hope it is an easy fix.*Jimi
