that's similar to what happened to mine before my problems started except iti was wheeled out of my spot into the driving lane and it seemed to have hit really hard so I thought either someone started to drop it from trying to steal it and they shoved it when it was on the way down and ran off, or someone was just being retarded because it looked cool, only noticeable damage on mine was broken blinker and peg
Mine was kicked 3 times in Bangkok, we have these motorcycle parking lots, 1 mio bike on 300 sqm, so the others have to push our bike to get out. The Thais are not used to the heavy bikes and underestimate the momentum when they move it. At the end I installed an anglesensor and a alarm horn, since then never had a problem.
try a craigslist posting. post the time/date/location and color/make of your bike. put in listing that it was kicked over by some inconsiderate bastard. i would also list some heart-wrenching tear-jerker like you're a young guy, worked overtime for a year to earn extra money to buy the bike, etc etc. someone with a conscience might have been with this prick when the bike was tipped, or saw who it was and respond to the ad with the guilty person's info. if so, go straight to the police with the info. worth a try and it's free.
Had this done to my bike some years ago. Due to work and the fact I parked out side my accomadation and not in the car park I could not do or say a thing even though the right frame rail was dented and mirror broken... Oh well that was a imaculate 02 now a right off..Carma is shit as Ill never know who it was and most probably work with them...
Sorry you to hear that. I had the same thing happen to my lightning in May, the day before a buyer was coming to look at it. Its still waiting on parts at harley. Insurance took extremely good care of all damage and scratches. Cops did caught the kids who did it over the weekend, they did the same thing to another bike up the street from my building, and cops saw them do it. Just since they admitted to doing it and my insurance has already paid out. Nothing I can to them, expect pay my now slightly higher bike insurance rate. Good luck on getting it fixed.
