If you do decide to get rid of your blast, where are you located? I might be able to have someone pick it up for me, I'm currently stationed in Germany. I have another bike to ride, so I would have all the time to tinker with it, plus I have a few gear heads in my family to help me out.

I think you should donate it to me. I will hot rod it out, and - well. Maybe I would let you ride it once its done.

Wait, what do you mean complete tranny rebuild? What was wrong with the tranny? How did you go about rebuilding it?

Lol. All the gears needed to be replaced. The clutch cable broke inside of the gear case so I had to rebuild it all. Don't ask me how it happened but the teeth on most gears were missing at least half of the teeth.

I call ********.

You don't open the transmission to replace the clutch cable. Even when replacing the entire clutch pack itself, you can't see inside the transmission.

1. What did you do to the forks??
2. The belt is nothing to complain about, it takes 1 minute and requires absolutely ZERO tools.
3. What was "done" to the shock and why? There's several things that can be "done" to the rear shock.
4. What was done to the exhaust?
5. What was done to the spark plug?

Your "list of **** done" doesn't list what was done or why.

Jet is correct. There is no possible way that the clutch cable could have come in contact with the transmission, unless there is magic involved somehow. Also, why would you mess with the shock and forks? They are both almost indestructible unless the bike was seriously crashed.

...or you can quit posting false information. Some of us actually try to fix real problems with real motorcycles.

But if his primary chain was way too tight - he would have to replace a bunch of stuff on the primary side - in fact practically everything - lol - maybe that is what he is referring to - that is one of the reasons I warn that it is better a bit loose than tight on the primary side - referring both to clutch and chain adjustments -

LOL - sounds like a parts bike - hope your primary and clutch are now adjusted to the loose side, if true then the shift shaft adjustment was done and your shifting should be great now. This is an easy bike to fix, but you have to get the wording right if you want folks to follow you and help. I been at this a long time so I can probably give a better educated guess than anyone through sheer experience, however, jet knows his stuff as good as the best out there, so be nice, he always trys to think outside the box to help folk, and right or wrong his guess will be better than most anyone elses except maybe me or the rare references from ErikO or TerryP. To get to the tranny you have to totally tear down and/or split the case depending on what your doing to the tranny - lol - so yeah I understand his side as well - relax - no one here is trying to hassle anybody - just trying to get to the truth - a touchy subject - lol

Primary and Clutch are looser and it shift fantastic now. Newest issue. Can push start. wont turn over. Im guessing the 10 buck starter relay or battery have kicked it. Tired the tap test on the starter and it doesn't try to kick on the bike but I hear a whirring sound instead of a clicking sound coming from it. (starter relay)

Starter is fine - I'm betting - I've only ever heard of one going bad ever - check your grounds - make sure the front and rear are clean and tight at both sides of the connections - especially the front. Make sure kickstand and clutch safety are disabled, and that battery is able to hold a full charge - some say they are good, but as soon as a load is put on them they die. If your battery is past a year - then it is automatically suspect. Relay is an easy test though - see manual.

Took battery to and connected it to Father In Laws battery charger. Its the battery more then likely because it says to replace or service battery :(

Sure there is - in a way - lol - the clutch and stator cover both have teeth for the primary chain - still wonder why no one has tried going to a belt - and if that is way over tightened, everything starts to go, the teeth, the tensioner, the clutch itself - a tight clutch will make this even worse. Even the chain will suffer - the big reason I've pushed for those things to be a tad loose over a tad too tight - this goes for all air-cooled Buells. Thats why Lafeyette was such a pain for getting it perfect, and why I went the one step more and recommended a tad loose.
