I just noticed that my peep hole on my clutch reservor looks black. I took it to the dealer they said that they had never seen that before. My clutch piston was leaking a while ago and they fixed that but now my fluid looks black through the peep hole. Any suggestions are helpful.

Dark fluid has water in it..change to fresh fliud...!!

I freshen mine every 3 or 4 months.

^^ Yup.

Brake and clutch fluid is hygroscopic, as in it tends to attract moisture, not so dangerous on clutch systems, but on braking systems it can be deadly as when water boils it turns into a gas, which means when you slam the brakes on hard you're not going to stop!

Best thing you can do is change the fluid, if it happens again anytime soon only then should you worry about it.

ok thanks, i am due for a service so i will do the oil and change the clutch fluid. Really appriciate the info, the dealer had no idea why it did it.
