i wonder why buell didn't bring the blacked out frame & suspension sooner as it gives more of a unique and outlaw badass look. it also does't stand out like on oler buells it blends into the bike. or why not offer it polished (custom order maybe like harley has done . maybe up there sales a little .) like some owner have opted to do . but i guess it the small production numbers that limit all that and keeps them even more unique.
just a thought .

They were waiting for me to paint mine the same way then piss me off by releasing the look on a stock bike. [mad].

I think Buell is figuring out who they are selling the bikes to and what the customer really wants. That and they have to change the look every few years with different color schemes, its kinda like releasing a new bike but not really. The dealers have been mix matching color schemes to change things up also. I saw a used 07 super TT at a dealer last weekend blacked out with the blue translucent plastic and wheels.

Yeah, that kinda aggravated me too Gator. I intend on giving my bike the blacked out treatment this winter...

Should just sell the damn thing and buy the pre-blacked out one. Too bad they don't sell that color scheme for the Uly. (I would hate to have to change my Username)

Just do the Uly and leave some stuff pre 09' color so everyone would know you did the work and not payed for it. I think a Uly would look cool all blacked out.[up]

I intend on doing it over the winter... probly start after new years. It still has some bo-boo's from my wipeout(s) that need to get prettied up again.

Bike is black now, going to go flat black all over with some orange accents. (I have a Chev Colorado that's GM's sunburst orange. Just like this I want the bike to be opposite of that...
