The blacked out look with the hero blue wheels is much better on the Firebolt. I tried it on my 09 lightning. Kept it for about a week and then went back to the hero blue air box cover and fly screen because I didn't like the look. Been wanting to try a white air box and flyscreen for a while now.

looking closer at the pic...your clutch cable is in line with the key Fob, which makes it look like there's something coming from the stem nut from the angle of the picture

Shave the "BUELL" logo paint and blackout the front bracket... it is now more black!

looks great, nice work there, like the overall look of your bike...I used Appliance Epoxy paint on my stay, came out pretty nice for a rattle can job

Painting the front fairing stay is on my list as well. Love it when they are painted to match the frame, wish they would have been powder coated to match from the factory. Looks particularly out of place on black bikes.

my paint scheme is black and yellow, although my frame is silver...maybe down the road I'll get that painted or powder coated as well as the wheels

the black with blue wheels looks great, and the touches of red give his bike a light added subtle eye candy
