I turned my blast into a rigid today. I removed the rear shock and replaced it with a bracket that I fabricated in order to lower the rear end. I no longer have suspension in the back but it looks mean and as far as I know their is no lowering kit for a blast. The whole thing cost me nothing but some time and the bike still rides nice because of that cushy seat it comes with. I will have some pics within the next few days if anyone wants to see the outcome just let me know...

ya lets see it
I dunno, I'm scared. I've seen some pretty damn ugly and butchered Blasts in the past (mine, by some people's standards), so I'm kinda hesitant and scared to see this. Lowered the rear with a "bracket" instead of just tube-steel but no mention of the front?

Ok, that looks BADASS!

I'm stealing your style for my other Blast. It was going to stay stock, but this looks like too much fun!

Bostonblast how is that with the stock foot peg locations. I had a similar idea after my rear motor mount bolts snapped on me this weekend.....mountain rds + saving a bike from a junkyard wasn't the best combo.
