Hey guys, my blast stalls after making a complete stop, if I want to keep it on I have to keep moving it forward with my legs. Any ideas? Hoping to work on it this weekend.

Have you checked the idle, I'm not real familiar with the blast, have you done any process of elimination? Any more info on the bike, IE got bad gas, just did tune up,etc? Might want to introduce yourself as well.

Hey guys, sorry for not going into detail I was pretty busy this week. I'm George from Chicago, 27 years old. I had not ridden in a few years but I used to have a 98 Suzuki gsxr600, great bike but a little too much for me. My cousin gave me my current 07 Buell Blast, he got it on a Craig's list trade and doesn't like to ride.

I am however having engine issues, I think it might be running rich, it runs very rough at low idle, missfires and low power, mid range seems ok and then it seems to misfire again at higher Rpm. I can't tell where the red line is since there is no tach, but it feels like it's losing power and drowning before what I estimate the red line to be. Then again I've never had a bike with such a small engine. I also heard some pops on deceleration. Is it running rich?

I was going to check a few things this week that I have some time, spark plug and the plug cable, air filter and oil change to start. Any input is welcome

[mad]

came out to my bike dropped on the street, I don't know if the a hole hit it with a car or pushed it over, just a broken blinker so not much damage done. Anyway, I am pretty sure by the smell of gasoline that its running rich, what would be the first things to look at?

Has the plug on the bottom of the carb been drilled out? Is the boot tight and without leaks? Just a couple of suggestions until someone much wiser checks in.
