Blinker Troubles...is there a Trick?!?!?!?!

Man…what is the trick to disassembly & assembly of these darn blinkers?!?!??!?...I have broken the little tab off on 2 lenses trying to put it back together after bulb replacement on my 2000 X-1..I know there must be a simple trick but I am at a loss…please clue me in…

the stock amber lense is somewhat fragile and tricky to remove and reassemble. the screw is #1 phillips head. remove it then rotate lense out and in opposite direction of screw hole. just kind of wiggle it and gently remove it being careful not to break off the tab. if you find the tabbed hook end is broken replace the lense with a few dabs of 3M plastic and trim adhesive and the factory screw. the adhesive available at any decent auto parts store and compatible with plastic lense.

...yep...super glued the tab back on...held my mouth just right...wiggled and prayer and got it back on...dreading the next blinker bulb failure!?!?!?!?!?
