I actually dont remeber the brand of them.

Im thinking of maybe putting some inside the air intake. Just enough to put a blue glow from the inside of it but not too much. They would also stay a little more out of the heat of the motor too. And then it would just be a slight blue accent of light in a spot that I have not seen lit up before.
If I do that, I will post up a picture.

12 oil changes, 2 air filters, 3 sets of tires, 2 regulators, 3 batterys, 1 paint and 30k miles ago i had these blu-leds fused into my bolt. long gone now though. only had the dash light when i sold it

Get some extra bright led's and put them in the air filter. All of my led strips are well hidden and only give off a little bit of light. I wouldn't say they are obnoxious or ricer like. They make the bike look awesome at shows and really show off the translucent plastics. Starts to make people wonder....where does that guy keep his gas?

I'm sorry but I think L.E.D'S look ghetto.

Especially the kind that change color and blink.

"Sounds like you have the the socket in backwards. That is if it came with that type of plug, does it plug where the stock bulb plugged in?"

Yes! Not sure whats going on with it. It aint been the same since. That type of bulb only goes in a certain way because of the offset tabs on the base. I had a different led before that spun around which was kinda gay so this was suppose to be an upgrade. Its a cool looking bulb, only if it wouldn't jack my $hit up ! Not sure what to do!!............................booo! My mechanice may come up to nashville to get a good ride in from Bama on his Buell but I aint holding my breath.:p

Here you go a guy just posted a link to state by state laws......

Pa accessorie lighting motorcycle law

§ 4310.  Motorcycle lighting.Auxiliary lighting may be added to a motorcycle to protect the driver, including blue dot illumination, standard bulb running lights and light-emitting diode (LED) pods and strips.(June 29, 2006, P.L.205, No.50, eff. 60 days) 2006 Amendment.  Act 50 added section 4310.

My experience with blue lights on my truck - bought blue lighted license plate frame on clearance from WalMart for $5 (yeah, I know, this is why they put it on clearance). Kept it in the package and never mounted it for a couple of years, trying to decide if I even wanted to use it. Decided, hey, what the hey, let's give it a try. Installed it - looked cool. After I ran it for a couple months I got pulled over and the officer said it's not allowed to have blue, to remove it. I didn't remove it, and a few weeks later I got pulled over again in a different county. Took some translucent yellow adhesive tape I had, and applied that over the frame, which of course made the light glow green in color. Ran it that way for a bit and decided to remove the frame. That's the way it is in my state anyway. I wouldn't choose blue.
