I don't know how many of you use an intercom while riding but I just fitted my helmet with one and went out with two other buddies... It makes riding that much more enjoyable. If anyone is considering this I just want to say. DO IT! I have the Sena smh10r which is low profile with the battery pack separately mounted and it is absolutely great. Doesn't look stupid on the helmet speakers are loud and clear for intercom, calling, listening to music, you name it. Very happy with it and would highly recommend it. Ok, that's all, just wanted to share.

My buddies and I were talking about this last year. Might have to look into it.[up]

I have heard some other great things about this particular unit as well. I may end up getting one just because of the bluetooth functionality and being able to answer a call while riding - just in case of emergencies.

I love my sena. they just put out an update to that makes the speakers louder and clearer. I decided to go with the sena smh10, not the r, just because I have like 4 helmets. so now I have a mount on each helmet and I click the bluetooth module onto whichever helmet I am wearing that day. its great.

I have had a Scala fitted into my Shoei for several seasons now. I can probably count on one hand the number of minutes I've actually turned it on. Call me old-school, but I'd really just rather focus on the ride, and hear the motor, than listen to the nattering of my buddies, or my wife.

I too have the SMH10 - Love the jog dial and the sound quality is great. Don't use it much for talking, just music...

Been looking at the 10r, just for it's size. Just haven't pulled the trigger yet. Maybe if I sell this one, then I'll get the 10r.

I have a oneal commander with the blinc bluetooth system built in, works pretty good as a intercom and listening to music via bluetooth but is no good for making phonecalls while the bike is running you can hear them but they cant hear you.

I was thinking about getting the commander but opted for a stand alone instead of integrated so that I could link up with more of my buddies. I was wondering how the commander worked? I do like the idea of an integrated helmet from the git.

Its a really nice helmet, I mostly use the bluetooth for music while on long rides. But I also really like the built in sun shade pretty cool and the battery lasts forever. I also have a pair of oneal fasttrack2 they were the first of this design and not nearly as good.
