Anyone ever use motocross boots?

I have these from from motocross boots and wondered if anyone ever used them and their like and dislikes?

Anyone know the differances between motocross boots and motorcycle boots?

I wouldn't recommend it... from 5 years of racing motocross i know that the MX boots have metals parts and they will most likely scratch your powder coat.

actually these have rubber peices on the inside of the boots to prevent that.

I have worn motocross boots for years,..riding motocross or dirt. Don't recomend for street use. They are bulky for street use,& come up closer to your knees than street/road race boots.They protect well, but combersome for any street use. Now if you do dual sport rides they are the best choice.
