Bought new tires

Just picked up a set of the new Metzler M7RR tires . I'll be mounting them next week and report back with some feedback. So far I've had 2 pairs of Michelin PP 2CTs and I really liked them.

I just mounted the Metzeler M5's on my lightning. Cant wait to get bike together and see how they feel. I have heard good things about metzelers.

I've had this brand since I've owned my bike. For me,these have been great. Started out with M3s, then M5s, and have the M7RR rear on. Just waiting for the front to be replaced before I have a matched set.

what kind of mileage are you getting esp. on the rear?

NOT to hijack this thread but if any board members in or near Lancaster County, PA.....17540.....bring your dismounted wheels and new tires by and i'm happy to dismount and mount and balance your new tires free of charge for you. just take your junkers home with you when you leave and pm me for appointment.

what kind of mileage are you getting esp. on the rear?

Just put the tire on around 32k and I'm about 33k and change, mabye 34k. Tire looks good. Early to tell. But right off the bat when I got the tire I could tell visually it had more rubber than the M5.

I use to get about 6-7.5k on the rear of the M5s, but that is with a track day or two throughout the year.
