I wondered if anybody had the Boyesen Xwing on their bikes intake, and what they thought of it

Looks like it's mean to work on a bike with carbs. May work on one of the older tubers though.

It works with XBs for sure, but I'm not sure about other Buells though.

i use one on my dirtbike with a carb along with the boysen "quidkshot" accelerator pump and yes they do make a differece... ive ran my x wing without the accelerator pump on and noticed a lil difference so they so work but dont expect huge power gains from it....

Looks similar to the "Tornado" that was out several years back. HP TV and a couple others tested it and several other gimmicks like it, and found that basically anything you stick into the path of airflow going into your intake, actually Reduced CFM and HP or changed nothing at all. (It wasn't butt dyno testing either, but accurate Dyno proven results).

Edit: I'd put that X-wing thing in the same category and wouldn't waste my money. [down][smirk]
