I have had my lightning for a month now and the amount of brake dust after a ride is starting to bother me. I imagine it's common for the stock brake pads to create a lot of dust but wanted to make sure. What is everyone using for replacement pads? Do they cut down on the brake dust?

I usually need to dust/wipe bike down after a ride. Yes the wheels are what shows dust first. This time of year in OKlahoma everything gets dusted daily.

Yep I the brake dust on my rear is there after each ride. Not to much, but if I don't clean it it becomes more noticeable.

stock brake pads not only noisy as in low speed clicking noise and carrying on, but dirty as hell. try EBC sintered HH pads. i stock them if you need a F&R set.

I wipe the fork legs after every ride. After seeing what the brake dust did to the right fork seal I make sure I keep the fork legs clean. Just something to keep in mind. At 7,000 miles the right fork leaked like crazy(enough to coat the rotor with oil and make the brake ineffective).
