Hey folks!

What is a good aftermarket front break lever/master cylinder setup on this bike?
I just redid the front brakes with the galfer wave rotor and EBC HH pads, but now the master cylinder is choppy and inconsistent.

Also,
I have some slight hesitation off the line and sometimes I get a misfire type sound when I go to accelerate from a dead stop. Happens when I jank the throttle before I let the clutch out, and can cause the bike to stumble off the line upon take-off (sometimes). It happened before I did my rocker box repair, so it's not my engine work. I also put new plugs in when I Did my rocker box rebuild, so it's not the plugs being bad.
Seems the tuning is "off" or something? What am I missing?
I have the ECMspy cable from ebay. Haven't tried to plug it in and figure all that out yet. Is now the time? lol

Edit:
P.S..
where is the heated grip plug? Didn't the 07 and later bikes come with a plug for heated grips? That might be a nice feature here in Northwestern Oregon.

Thanks for any input fellow Buellers!

Stock MC and levers work fine. Rebuild your MC (or have it done). Mine was notchy as well. If you want an aftermarket lever, see 5-0dro on here...they sell nice levers in shorty and standard length. Search this forum for MANY answers/theories on your off-idle hesitation. :)

Could try just taking the lever off and cleaning the pivot area up really well and putting a light coat of grease on it.
That can made a big difference in feel sometimes.
