I installed a Diesel Moto fender elim kit and rewired everything as it came. The license plate light wires are sitting unused and now I noticed that I do not have a brake light. I can't tell if the light is on constant brake or not. When I pull the brake lever there is no change.
Any input on where I should start?

The tail light bulb has two filaments (?) inside. one for tail light and one for brake light. Check if the brake wire has burnt..

Sorry my bad english :D

How do you determine if the brake wire has burnt? I tried unplugging the 3 wires individually and all shut off the entire light.

When I changed my light to the led one. I noticed, when I plugged in the wires again, (one for the brake switch, one for the running light and one ground) that the brake switch and the running light wires will both work as the running light. you may need to swap the wires.

Not sure if this helped. If not, get another bulb, really cheap. My bulb blew in the opposite situation no, running light only the brake light. Not fun at night.

Have you checked your fuses?

And the wires you left unused, did you tape them up so they're not grounding out?

New info. The rear brake pressed lights up the brake light every time.

Front brake when pulled only lights at a certain position. I pulled the connection to the lever and cleaned it off. It was all greased up. Still only works in a certain position at about half the way back. I have determined it is not the light or at the light but most likely at the lever switch. What to do now?

Micro switch behind the brake lever. Blew is out with compressed air. I need to troubleshoot better before posting.
