Just wanted to post this, cause I'm new to the site and motorcycles. Bought my first motorcycle, '06 xb9sx and I love this thing[up]. Have to change rear tire so I could ride some more, cause the tire was bold when I bought it.
I have already taken the headlight grill and hand protecting thingies off, did the headlight mod so both lights would stay on:D
I would put some pictures of my new toy, but don't know how

Please dont use the word thingie on a motorcycle site.haha just kidding again but yeah lets not use that word.
Now post some pics of that bike or none of us will believe you. :D

OH and Welcome to you BTW [up]

that very bike but an 07 was my first buell and one of the best, most fun, most enjoyable bikes i've ever owned so still have it of course. many postings on here regarding maintenance, problem solving, mods. maintain it properly and ride it sensibly and she'll give you many years and miles of trouble-free enjoyment. ride it like you stoled it and prepare yourself to be best friends with your local buell tech. welcome aboard.

Ok, here she is, the first day I brought it home :)

being from IL i think you'll want to leave the handguards on for cool weather riding. those in conjunction with evilbay heated grips keep your hands warm and toasty even on 40 degree days.

Looks pretty good, congratulations. Now take take off the reflectors and warning stickers.

Haven't taught about it, but now that you mentioned it...[up]

Nice bike[up]
I'll be doing oil change today and I'll put frame pucks on the bike

Akela, I'd take off the passenger pegs unless you plan on riding a passenger regularly. Just looks cleaner. I'd ride with gloves too :)

Vve are the end, I always ride with gloves on
:). In the picture, that was the time when I brought the bike home and foorgot the gloves. That was the only time riding without gloves;)
Still thinking about the passenger footpegs[smirk]
