Hey guys,
Installed my breather re-route last year, and everything seems to be working fine. Tonight as I was putting my cover on my bike I noticed the filter was pretty saturated with oil. It wasn't like that this afternoon. I have a cap on the bottom of the hose that I usually let any excess drain out. No biggie for me to grab a new filter, but has anyone else experienced this? Anything I can do to prevent this on my next filter?

Any info appreciated.
Cheers!

I use degreaser on mine about once every 2 or 3 months. take it off first obviously, spray it on, use an old tooth brush to scrub it out. Then rinse it and let it dry.

I actually have 2 so I can swap them if I dont feel like cleaning it right away.

Thanks Dave, that's a great idea. I probably had lots of gunk on there but didn't notice until today.

No prob jbonz. Remember that oil is coming from your motor, its normal, but still check your oil.

I routed mine down the frame and zip-tied with the end left open under footpeg. The end of it is left open, no problems and I've never seen drops on bike or floor.

Not sure if anyone else has used this technique, but the 3/8" hose seem to fight tightly into the footpeg bracket assembly - have to say it def runs better, and I already got a few drops when I opened the drain after first 10 mile ride

My drain hose exits near my chin fairing, I took my my passenger pegs off completely. There has always been residue that drips. I may put in a drain plug like Architech has above rather than my plastic cap....
