broken shifter

OK, So I'm traveling down a gravel road and hit a little rut causing me to tuck the front end and drop the bike. I all happened so fast, but anyway, the end result was a broken shifter. It also broke off the little connecting rod. So I'm gonna need the whole unit. My question is can I order this somewhere on the net or do I have to deal with my local stealership and wait over a week on my part?[sad]
