Any one know a trick to getting gum off your bike. Apparently someone was chewing a whole pack of big League Chew and tossed it. I got gum covering the front fender, chin, under tail, tire hugger, both rims and tires, prob exhaust too.

you get a DNA sample off the gum, find who was chewing it, and make them lick it off the bike. haha, j/k but I do believe that gum is really werid and will get hard and not stick any more and just come right off, but I'm not sure since I haven't had that kind of gum in a really long time. Good luck getting it off and let us know how it goes.

ive seen gum taken off of floors before by freezing it with Co2... maybe go buy a can if "canned air" for like blowing out keyboards and stuff and flip it upside down and it will freeze things... spray a lil bit on and try scraping or picking it off... it shouldnt damage anything...

but i agree with everyone else that freezing seems like the best way...

they also sell Co2 canisters for BB Guns, and they sell a kit like this that has a small spray top to use it with.

I don't know how easy it is to find, but they also make liquid nitrogen in a can specifically for removing gum from things. I remember playing with it constantly when I worked at kmart in high school. That was a good 10 years ago though, so who knows how hard it is to find now.

if you can use ice to get gum out of hair, I figure that will work for your problem

The ice is kinda working, just really slowly. I don't have that kind of patience. I'll get my wife working on it later. That kind of BS in right up her alley. Thanks for the help.

yea... WD-40 is good for cleaning bug guts, tar, stuck on rubber and other stuff like gum from surfaces...

idk why i didnt mention that
