Buell 2005 XB9SX

I bought my Buell while stationed in Germany in late ‘04 from AAFES - I had to wait until I returned home to pick it up at a local HD dealership as they would not ship to Germany. I never saw the bike before I picked it up, only pictures of it. I remember thinking “god, I hope I like this bike”. When I saw it, it was love at first sight. I’ve always wanted to buy a Buell since seeing a friend’s S1 (i think it was an S1 - really just a super great looking bike). I’ve had my bike almost 20 years - hard to believe. It still runs great and never fails to put a smile on my face. I’ve only recently decided to mod it (tho I have all the original parts!) which has brought me to these forums- change of color, exhaust, some QOL stuff like grips, levers and such.

Funny - I just noticed I never removed the original warning labels on the swingarm and steering downtube.

You know, one of my neighbors bought a bike that looked exactly like yours (tho it might have been a XB12) - I always thought that color was just awesome!
