And what would be the advantages or disadvantages of each (if any). Also, hoping to reduce the prices a little, as always.

1 - $4500 - 05 xb9s - 13k miles - Looks to be very well kept, clean bike. Fender elim, integrated tail light, header wrap, brand new double compound tires, bar end mirror. IMO only needs right side scoop and upgraded ECM

2 - $5200 - 07 xb12s - 9k miles - Completely stock. Have only ridden 9's, not sure if a 12 is worth the extra money, especially the updates it will need

3 - $5000 - 07 xb12sgc - 9k miles - Stock, homemade fender elim, new tires and battery

Your input is appreciated

Hard to know without looking at them or the adds. Personally for the money, I would definitely go with option 3. Newest option, low miles, scg's are awesome and fairly hard to come by and it is yours to make your own.

That's my preference too, but again, more money to make it your own even after the purchase. I would like to make sure that a 12 is worth the extra funds, and that certain model years have improvements the older ones are missing.

If u can get the o7s. For 4800-4900. Than u can start fresh and make it ur own. What colors are all 3?

Tough to give accurate advice without knowing your dimensions and how you plan to ride, but options 2 & 3 look good to me.
I'll take a clean stock bike over a modded one any day.
Also, if you want a little extra grunt across the rev range, and taller gearing for freeway blasting, I'd definitely recommend the 12 over the 9.
Option 3 offers the exclusivity and lower seat height of the scg with new rubber and battery at a reasonable price. I'd go with it!

1 - black engine, silver frame, transparent blue plastics

2 and 3 - gunmetal/grey engine and frame, trans red plastics.

The blue isn't overly modded, it's everything I would do anyways... More of a weekend/back road light twisty riding, not looking to scream down the freeways. However, more power is more power.

Sounds like you'd be perfectly happy with the 9, especially if you are price-sensitive.

I prefer stock bikes over modded because I have a better sense of what I am buying, but if the mods on the 9 appear tasteful & well-done, go for it!

I would take a 12 over a 9. There is no substitute for displacement :D plus unmodded and make it ur own. Take #3

I have a 9, is there that much difference with a 12?
Well, neither are particularly fast bikes, but the 12 is good for about 1/2 sec better in the quarter mile than a 9.

The 12 also pulls harder from off the line to triple digits.

The 9 has the advantage of having a 'revier' motor. By comparison, the 12 can feel a bit unresponsive to throttle input.

I personally find the 9 a tad underpowered but hey, so is the 12! Both are very fun, competent and unique bikes!

How tall are you? I'm 5'10 and have an scg. It is really confidence inspiring. It's a little rougher (stiffer) ride than my buddies s. even setup for his fat ass. I'm 155... he's like 200. Noticable more twitchy than the ss (not one of your 3) Wat kind of riding will you be doing?
Above 5'10 I'd consider the s. Consider the 12 not only for more power but they seem to have a better resale as well.

Owning an XB9SX, I'm a bit partial to them. Also being 5'7" with a less than 30 inseam makes me think fondly of the SCG but out of the three available, I'd try to negotiate #2 for lower and go for that over the others. A stock 12S that I could make my own is a very exciting proposition and unless you absolutely need the bike to be lower, I think the standard height is just fine.

Ended up finding the same bike as mine to buy for my buddy, just in Hero Blue. 5k miles, all stock, for 4800. Previous owner was a female DMV motorcycle instructor. They don't come any cleaner than this one.
