Buell header with no muffler...

Well here's a thought, I have my D&D pipe, K&N filter & Buell Racing ECM however i want more sound. That's just the kinda guy i am. (and i know it will reduce low end, etc) however, What would i need to do to make this safe to run open header? extend the header pipes longer? Would i be able to still use my Buell Race ECM? Cut my header before the two header pipes meet the flange and custom bend two pipes down through opening and out sides (similar to D&D style without the muffler?

i ran my 03 xb9r for awhile straight from headers. i can use jardine down pip to get under bike the just put some pipe on to throw it to sides. also just ran straight out for just bit. bike seemed fine. doesnt run as good but no damage. decel pops horribly though

I'm running a D&D. It runs absolutely great and it rarely pops. You need a tune.

I just bought the race ecm from ebrracing.com and that's how it came ! And i didnt go the extra mile to get the software license key
