I should have said any color but hero blue, thats the color I have sorry. How come you are selling it?

10,000 for the bike another 1500 in performance mods 800 in dyno time at two different dealers 3 months down time sending pcm to jts in cali ebr race ecm and still have idle problems, popping and weak performance compared to other bikes.love the looks love the handeling but enough is enough with these weak ass harley engines.some people can live with it not me.price will be lower and lower as time goes by.

was going to do big bore kit and was thinking about turbo but i would hate to spend 5000 or 6000 grand and be even more pissed.

If 100HP and 80ft/lb of torque is not enough for you you should have bought a different bike to start with. Sorry, not trying to be an ass, but you knew about the bike's performance before you bought it! Spending thousands of dollars for 10-15 more HP makes little sense imo.

And who the hell cares about going fast in a straight line anyway? Any numbnut can buy a fast bike and twist the throttle... Passing the big sportsbikes in the twisties with my "weak ass" Harley is what it's all about to me :)

wasnt complaining about torque or horsepower. over all performance engine wise sucks.i am not alone in feeling this way going by all the posts on here and all the people selling or giving away performance mods/downloads.even eric felt this way with research in the vrod engine, turbo and finally choosing the rotax over this weak ass evo.glad to hear your happy with your stock unmodified buell or have you done mods.

I might have mine up for sale. It is a 2009 Cherry Bomb Red wit 2650 miles on it. All stock and has had the 500 mile break in service and the 1000 mile service and is running Amsoil. Let me know if youre interested.

I have had many different bikes in the past. a 2004 Suzuki SV650S. a 2005 Honda 1000RR. a 2002 GSXR600. a 2009 Kaw Ninja250R. and now my 2009 Buell XB12Scg. I have loved every bike for what it brought to the table. My SV was super smooth and a great first bike. My 1000RR was FAST. The GSXR was a great price and great bike. The Ninja was for my wife, but I love to ride it. it is so light and fun! The Buell is my new baby. It has great useable power for the streets, with exhaust it sounds like a beast, and I think it looks sweet!

i love the looks, braking, handling, sound and the compliments on the bike.best looking bikes around.

So you like the torque and HP, but you think the engine performance sucks... OK brother! :D

When you bought the bike, did you really expect a 30yo air cooled 1200cc twin (that btw gives me 50mpg and usable power for the streets) to be up to par with today's I4 liquid cooled engines? Is that the issue?

My 600 gixxer track bike is faster in a straight line, but again, who the hell cares about that? The gixxer sucks on the streets because of the ergos and no useable power (unless you like to keep the revs over 10k rpms).

Buy a Hayabusa, stretch it and put a turbo on it if you want to drag race...But again, a turbo, nos etc... won't make you go quicker around turns... technique will [up]

bad texas
what are you gonna sell yours for, if you sell?

roommetzler, the ninja250R is that a beginner bike your wife has?

Yep. It's her first bike ever. First time riding anything with a clutch. She learned in about a half hour at Target parking lot! We got exhaust, jet kit, and a different front sprocket on it and the bikes is awesome! It is so light and fun. She rode my XB12Scg a couple weeks ago and was like "WOAH! ya don't even have to give it gas and it just goes!"

The Ninja is such a great beginner bike for her to learn, build confidence, and have fun on.

no just expected a good idle no flat spots no back firing.to be able to do mods with no major problems.not to deal with people like asb telling me we will have a map next week for a year then recomend jts who had my pcm for 3 months then tell sorry we cant mapp 09s then tell me they talked ebr and had them program one just for my bike runs worse now or srcew with dealers telling me we can do that on our dyno take your money and say thats the best we can do. i have three bikes.2 metric and a buell.i new i wasnt going to get the top end or power.i did expect a good running engine and some factory or aftermarket support.nothing more than any car bike or boat ive bought in the past.read other posts i am not the only one trying to take care of these problems.get it

I get your frustration :) I guess I am a little defensive of my baby which runs awesome with just a jardine and re-route breather [up]
