I have a 2004 XB9S. I know there are some minor differences. What I'm not sure about are there major differences in the fuel injection systems. I much prefer the feel of paper over computer screens. Maybe I should ask Barrett.

Marty: That 2006 SM would work fine for your 2004. There are differences between the years such as additional models added to the line-up like the City-X and Ulysses X.....minor changes in front fork geometry and tube diameter...and major changes in the fuel pump design and supplier. Most else stayed the same.
