Tires are the Pirelli Angel Sport Touring. They seem to have a really stiff sidewall so not sure how that's going to feel on cornering. I used to have a neighbor who raced WERA and I'd buy all his Pirelli Super-Corsa take offs for $50 each. You could drag knees and hardparts through gravel roads on those things.

The GP shift is going to take some practice. I'm sure I'll fk it up a time or two but as clunky as these gearboxes are, I'd prefer to stamp down to upshift while under hard acceleration. It's such an easy mod, if I hate it I can switch back in 10 minutes.

Gonna have it completely back together today. So more pics and a funny story that CGO referred to.

Just be careful... If it doesn't feel like it wants to go into gear, don't force it (easier to want to stomp it into gear with GP)! Some dudes have had the transmission grenade and the rear wheel lock up at 60+ mph. Usually happens on downshifts or upshifts from 2nd to 3rd. Nothing to do with GP, but if that happened, you might want to just stomp it into gear which could be bad. Can't remember which years have had the most problems with this. There's a thread somewhere on here about it.
