I just picked up a new 07 (old stock) XB12STT in white and black. This thing seems to be awesome and I am hooked. I am interested in getting some pipes for it. I want something nice and throaty but not the loudest thing out there. I am also fine with the power for now and don't need to go for the whole race kit. Is there something you guys would recommend?

btw, I already removed the number plates.

I've always recommended the drummer even though I don't own one. They're not too loud, but they add what I think is the best sound you can get out of it.

Congrats on the new bike!

This bike was taken to Pikes Peak by Team Latus Motors for the 08 hill climb race, then never raced. I assume the number plates were for that purpose.

I was told by the sales guy that this bike was sorta a cross between a supermoto and a street bike, but who knows.

I recommend Drummer for pipe as for the #plates well the STT came stock with it since it was there attemp to the hypermotard thing likr KTM and Duc, you can get a passenger pegs kit that need the plates to go.

Thanks for all the great info. I think I am going to end up with the Drummer or the Special O.P.S. pipe. I like the billet end cap on the Drummer but the price on the O.P.S. pipe. Is there any one that has had experience with both?
