Buell Select Seat (A little much?)

I've been looking high and low for a select seat for my '03 XB9S and found this

Does anyone think he's asking maybe a bit much? (sorry if it's being sold by a member here)

Yes.... I think $200 is to high and $500 is smoking crack..... But I don't like the seat at all and gave the last one I had away.

But at the end of the day, it doesn't matter what I think or anybody else. It all has to do with who wants it the most.

ehhh...At $500 yeah a bit. I don't recall seeing them go that high but you never know. If it sells for $500 then I might have to consider selling mine for an obscene profit!

200 seems reasonable as he prob paid that much for it. 500 is crack pipe but hence the buy it now and auction price.

I was thinking about bidding like 220-250$ on it, but i doubt my tax return will arrive on time. With my next insurance bill on the way, plus registration renewal in a month and spring break coming up, idk if i wanna drop that kind of money. My ass will regret it in the spring

Are the select seats really THAT comfortable? I have always wanted one because i love the way they look, but i have never had the chance to sit on one.

I have seen several sell for 550 shipped. I recently bought one for 250 shipped that was new in box. I love the look of the "Taco Cooler" for the passenger. If you want it buy it they dont make them anymore and the prices will keep going up for nice pieces.

Same here. Had a City X seat sculpted and recovered with custom vinyl, foam layers and stitching. At least as comfy as a select but it's custom and there isn't another one like it anywhere. If I hadn't had it done locally, the only other I would've consider would've been a Baldwin.

I think I paid $120 or so for mine, I can't remember exactly, but I got a great deal. It was a local purchase so didn't have to pay shipping or anything.

I like my select seat. Much better than the low seat and the stock R seat on the original r tail.
