Buell Select Seat (A little much?)

Are the select seats really THAT comfortable? I have always wanted one because i love the way they look, but i have never had the chance to sit on one.

Not $500 better IMHO! We can meet up sometime and you can have a look at mine.

I paid 300, and I don't feel ripped off at all. not about the seat anyway.

I've had two select seats in the past, and i never found them to be more comfortable than my stock S seat. I guess my ass ain't as sensitive as some.

I'm pretty sure you could have a custom one made to be exactly like the select seat for $250. people often forget that there are places that can and will do that.

and i'm sorry if I'm offending anyone but you'd have to be a fool to buy a seat for $500. sure I know the select seat has "Buell" crudely stamped on the bottom... but that doesn't make the seat better than a custom one made to fit your ass as if it were royalty. I'd take a $250 - $300 custom seat over a OEM $500 seat any day.

If its worth it to you buy it. I like mine. Its no different than people paying over 100 for 16 dollar buell grips. Its really not about the $ worth as much as the novelty to me.
