Hey Guys. I have a 2006 Ulysses that has been an awesome machine to me. I took the bike on a 2300 mile trip last year from Central New York down the Blue Ridge Parkway into Tennessee North Carolina and back. The bike was awesome but I am a big guy and when the bike is loaded down with luggage and a weeks worth of clothes and gear the rear suspension doesn't keep up as well as I would like. I am hitting the road in June for a 2000 mile trip heading up the coast of Maine and was wondering if anyone knows of somewhere I can get a heavier spring or any other ideas are welcome.

just out of curiousity do you have the pre-load adjusted correctly and is it working correctly? to check all you need to do is slowly turn out adjustment knob until fully out....then slowly start to turn it in to increase pre-load. you should start to feel resistance when turning after approx. 2 turns. if not the fluid level is low and/or has leaked out. would check that first. a friend of mine weighs about 250 and regularly loads down his 2007 Uly like a pack-mule and has no rear suspension complaints but i did refill the pre-load fluid for him which had leaked out. prior to that he had same complaints as you.
