The first Buell to complete a BDR! 600 miles of offroad from Oregon across Washington to Canada!
I finally got my vid done of my Buell WABDR (Washington state Back Country Disovery Route). This vid was broken up for all the guys on the trip. I'm still working on a version with much better footage highlighting just the Buell. Enjoy!!! Click on the link below:

That looked like a blast. What kind of miles did you put down and did you ever have fuel/ overheating issues on any trails?

Love the little wheelies that the Uly does, especially the fork-mounted shot around the 55 second mark.

Won't let me watch on mobil device (ipad).

Me too, when you upload a vid,you have to select the box that makes it unavailable for mobile. [confused]

So many questions pop to the surface:
- Looked like two KTM Adventures and a BMW GS. How'd the Uly compare/hold up?
-What kind of shoes was your Uly wearing? Any thoughts?
-Did you wish for engine guards?
-I would think soft side bags would be better on a trip like that, right? My HB hard bags would look pretty rough by the end of that trip.
-Any significant mods to your bike necessary or was it mostly stock?

"-What kind of shoes was your Uly wearing? Any thoughts? "

Never mind. I found your first post. Sorry 'bout that.

[up] Looked to be an awsome trip. Did you happen to do a ride report on ADV Rider? I would love to get some of the details of the trip.

Sorry for the lack of replies :(
I didn't get any emails telling me of the responses.
The Uly did great!
it shocked and awed the other's how well it did.
They were doubters at the beginning. The major issues were the small diameter wheel made the shorter suspension travel more noticeable and a steering damper badly needed!
A steering damper would have made it handle 50% better IMO.
It just so happens a fix for that is on our doorstep if someone in Southern Cali would leave their Uly with GPR. They make dampers for the other Buells and want to build one the the Uly! Check my other post for details.

Thx,
Chad
