Just picked up an 03 XB9s and would like to know what all is interchangeable with this bike...I would like to do the split seat like the fire bolt? Would like some feedback and some healthy advice on mods and enduring the life of this beast

There is alot of intercangeable parts. Almost all of the parts are interchangeable. Are you saying you want a firebolt tail? If so I would be happy to buy your lightning tail.

I'm from Kansas City...shitload of bikes but never see many buells. I' ll try and get some pics in here today. Changing my oil was one of the first things I did and actually got that advice from my local HD dealer.

Is it just me or are lightning seats Uncomfortable?

They aren't the most comfortable by any means. You might have a low seat on your bike which offers even less cushion/comfort. When you post pics, we'll be able to tell you.
