Buell XB Frame for sale

early XB frame, the short/standard frame (matches 03-05 XB S, R, and SX variants I believe, no promises)

this frame is a leftover from the early Buell factory world endurance race program, at some point it was forgotten in a barn and we found it

anyone interested? it has a domestic vin, but I don't know if it has ever been activated, titled, deactivated, or what

there is no title or anything that comes with it, it's just a piece and I'm willing to let it go cheap

no dents or anything major like that, it may have some scratches (it's been sitting in a barn)

probably needs a cleaning with some solvent too

I was looking for one to give you to help you get your 9 back up and running but no luck

we have the frame, a set of rocker boxes, and an extra broken base rear isolator right now

I think I recall you needed the rear isolator too, if we can get a new base plate or weld it in a manor that leaves us confident it will work for you I'd give you that. I need to get back home and look into it first though

okay, the support arm is in tact, but the actual mount snapped just past the bolts on the tranny side. I removed everything off of it and called my dealer and it's $70 for a new one.

yea, that's how we've seen them break a number of times on the race bikes too kyle

haven't been out to the shop since it was found, I believe it has the gas cover and steering-stem bearings in/on it still

make an offer, it's probably un-titlable s just keep that in mind

anyway, no title or anything for this

the frame is in good shape as should be obvious from the pictures, just really dirty

clean it up and use it in a race bike or a custom build where you don't need a VIN

make offers on it if you want it, not trying to make any big money on this or anything

But you could file for a lost/stolen title if you wanted and then it would be insurable!!

it wasn't, it was never registered or activated to begin with is my understanding

it came off a factory race team bike I believe, it's never seen a normal road
