Hey all. I've owned my Buell since the beginning of last summer, and all I can say is wow!! Love the thing. I successfully shortened my front signals, and they look so much better. Anyways here is my little "How To."

1. Remove front signals. (Simple enough)

2. Slide off large black plastic extensioner.

3. Cut wires about 2 inches from ends.

4. Unscrew long tube.

5. Cut off the end with the long treads of the tube. I used a side grinder and a file.

6. Take the piece that you've just cut off and filed down, and screw it back into the signal light.

7. Re-attach wire ends.

8. Re-attach Signal lights to bike, and you're done!

Nice job. I havn't done mine yet but I hear you can just take the spacer and put it on the inside of the housing. Good work though.

Looking goooood! Thanks Jbrauner! This is what I was looking for about a week all over internet... Will do when it's gonna get warmer around here in Chitown.
