Let's see what you have!! [up][cool]

I'll get pictures a little later, but here's my current list:

Guitars
Framus Panthera Studio Custom
Fender MIA Sub-Sonic Strat
Taylor GC3
Ovation 12-string
Couple ****** beater guitars for traveling

Basses
Zon Custom Sonus 5
Spurling 5-string fretless (all handmade to spec by a luthier in SF)
Medium-grade chinese stand-up

Drums
RET Percussion Stealth Pro kit
SmarTrigger cymbals (2 crash, 1 ride, high hat)
Pearl Eliminator doubles

Amps
Mesa F-30 Combo

Aguilar 1x15 and 4x10

I've got a bunch of other random **** (didgeridoos, oud, percussion crap, mandolin, banjo, balinese flutes) that I've collected in my travels, as well as a bunch of unlisted studio stuff (plug-ins, preamps, interfaces, mics, etc).

It's sad that I've dumped so much money into the room, and I spend MAYBE 1 hour per week in there, tops. Just too busy these days.

I need to post some up somewheres... I have some on an old myspace page but I havent even logged onto it years. Ha.. new stuff since then. I was actually gonna break in my GoPro and post a vid with my music in the back ground and see if anyone asked what it was. ;)

I hear ya octo... I need to make more time for music. The dust doesn't sow up in the pics.

Nice stuff guys!

I love Pearl Session kits!  What a tight, clean sounding kit!

I've had mine since the mid 90's. I do like them a lot. They're not quite a maple custom kit but they're a good mid-level that's decently affordable and has some nice hardware. I think my favorite drum is the piccolo though. It cuts like a knife and has really good feedback for ghost-notes etc.

I need to make more time for music.

I hear ya! My instruments used to be played daily back in the day...Now, I'm lucky if I knock the dust off of them monthly.[sad] Doesn't responsibility suck!?!?!?!?[mad]

My music room is in no condition for pictures right now. I dn't know exactly what years everything is, but I have a '90 Westone something, an '83 and an '84 Electra x185 and x189, both Lipstick red. There's the pawn shop beater (my friend Steve loves it) Some unknown Washburn axe, (I bought it as a neck and body)an unknown year(early 70's maybe?) Univox hollowbody archtop. It didn't work when I bought it, and is sson to get new pickups and controls. I've got a couple acoustics also, one was a wedding present to my mom when my parents married, the other is an old Gibson archtop my uncle bought used when he was a kid. Age unknown, just old. My amps are a little Kustom in the sparkly blue tuck/roll, and an Earth Producer amp on a custom built cab with a vintage speaker. (Ampro)

Also residing in my "music room" is an alto saxophone, a recorder, a clarinet, um,... Too bad the only one I really know is the sax. I can kinda play the rest.

Man.. can't wait until I can afford something other then a one bedroom apartment so I can get all my gear out of storage and play again!!
Drums allday.

No doubt! I usually spend more time in the studio during the winter but it hasn't happened much this year.

My first guitar was an Electra Westone. It was a crazy looking flying v. Not a well known guitar but the action on it was amazing... it had better action than my friends Ibanez.. not his Steve Vai model, that thing was ridiculous!

So my goodies include:

Turntables:
2 Technics sl-1200mk2 w/ Pioneer DJM mixer
2 Technics as-1200m3d w/ Rane Empath mixer
1 Technics sl-1200dz CDJ

Synths:
Roland Juno-106.. awesome analog bass tones
Korg DS-8

Digital:
Axiom25 midi controller
Ableton, Acid and CoolEdit are my primary programs
But I run oodles of different VSTs and Effects.

Strings:
Fender Cheapo-caster
1908 Maybelle Tenor Banjo.. seriously.

Drums:
Djembe
Bongos
Random drums left here

Sound:
Mackie 1402vlzPRO console
Mackie hr624 studio monitors
Mackie srm450 stage monitors when I need to be louder
Electrix Filter Factory
Electrix Vocoder
Banshee Talk-Box

Probably missing something but thats what gets used... when I have time... except the banjo... it just gets pulled out when antiques roadshow comes on.

I watched a documentary on Moog. Pretty neat stuff. He pioneered the way for modern synthesizers and electronic music and he wasn't even a musician!

I would love a vintage Moog. Warm analog tones that give you goosebumps. The modern mini-moog is damn near the same as it was back in the day. Pretty sure they are out of my price range since they are still hand made.

They're amazing. There was a synth museum about 30 min from me and everything there you could use/play 808s 303s moog prodigys, minis. It was insane just rooms and rooms full of this stuff!

That would be cool to check out. I have always wanted a tb303 but good luck finding one in working order. Funny how a whole sub genre of electronic music started by using a cheezy piece of equipment in ways it was never intended for. I have a couple different plugins that emulate the 303 but... Not the same. Hip hop can thank the 808... 808 kick drum makes the girlies get dumb. Ha.
