Buellers' Instruments & Musical Equipment

I had a 5 piece Mapex Pro M Fusion kit in high school. That was a great set of drums. I beat the **** out of them and they just kept on going. They must have played 100 shows on the Sunset Strip.

Holy Crap, you guys have some awesome stuff! I play an instrument GUARANTEED not to get you laid.....a violin. [down]

I fell into being a sound guy for a bit.
Buddy knew a place where a few bands would practice, I went one night and their "engineer" didn't show up.
I knew enough to plug everything in and turn it on.
Learned along the way as with much anything else.
Was a fun 2 summers as it lasted.

But I'm not musically talented in anyway, just know how to make it sound good.

I admire you all for your talents, but have a soft spot in my heart for the Technics tables. I used to DJ several years ago, and haven't gotten new tabels since that deal went south. I miss it.

Ill sell ya my mk2's Hehe... had them since 86 and they still function perfect... can't killem. In the hands of some people Techincs are instruments. I just mix records and scratch a wee bit. I play alot of instruments poorly but after a bit of production, poorly steps up to mediocre. Id say I am more a producer than musician maybe. I can play just enough make people think I am a decent musician.

Fender $100 classical acoustic
Squier bullet double humbucker (bought to play Rocksmith on Playstation...go ahead..laugh. It's actually pretty fun, and much more interesting way to play compared to lessons or random plucking)

I have a vintage Gretsch double anniversary hollow-body electric in Sunburst. I have no idea how to play it, but it was passed down from my Grandfather and I have no intention of selling it. My Mom made me a custom display case for it, I just haven't got around to finishing it.

This statement is very heartbreaking. It's called tenacity and I suggest you conjure some up. No excuses. Three chords is all you need to learn and the World is yours.....

Clarence Leo Fender FTW [up]

I have lost count on the equipment I own. I play bass guitar, but have something like 25 guitars, 10 tube amps, synths, drums, mics, fx units, stomp-boxes etc lying everywhere around the house. And close to no time at all to use them. I prefer to go for a ride on the XB than play the guitar or record a track lately. I'm not really good either haha.

I also import some guitars, amps, stomp boxes etc here in Greece as a hobby more than for profit, check out my website if you like:

www.High-Gain.com (I have way more stuff in stock, not listed there).

Here's some photos of my gear:

Bumping this thread again.

Just ordered a custom 8 string multiscale guitar from Oakland Axe Factory. Tom has been a real pleasure to work with, so for anyone who is in the market for an extended range (or not) custom guitar, you should definitely get in touch with him. It's more affordable than you might think!

Ended up going with a padauk body, neck, and headstock, with ziricote top, fretboard, and headstock top. I think I've settled on a 27" - 25.5" spread, though I may bump it up to 28.6" so I can tune down to E on the low string. I have a little bit of time to make that decision, though, since the guitar won't be ready until August.

Sounds like a slayer! I love 8-strings, even though I never got around to getting one.
Gonna check his website now (never heard of him), I'll be waiting for a review when you get her! ;)
I like your choise of exotic wood. What about electronics?
And shapewise, is it going to be a Ibanez-style superstrat, or something a bit different?

Edit: I see he makes multi-string touch instruments too, cool!

Thanks Jezuz! Electronics will probably be a Lace Death Bar in the bridge, and Aluma X-bar in the neck. I'm leaving it up to Tom on that one, since he's the extended range pro.

It's going to be a single cut with a notch for resting on the leg. If you look at his website gallery you'll see the body shape I'm talking about.

I obviously don't have the instrument in hand, yet, but reviews of what he's made so far are great. His customer service is also second to none.
