BuellMods.com is down being rebuilt right now.
No server issues. No host issues. Simply rebuilding the site to make it faster and easier to navigate.
Previous owners were trying too hard to re-invent the wheel, which ended up with a database full of crap where no database was needed in the first place which was contributing to slow loading, multiple confirmations to download and even security loopholes. It's now been stripped of any Joomla/Wordpress/Blog software and will be a fast, simple, HTML-based site.
I'll update when it's back up and running.

Hey, all, I'm not trying to hijack the thread but I see that Pur Pony posted that they had all the maps....I have a 2009 XB12Ss with a Jardine RT1 (I think I got that model right) and a K&N filter...I've been wanting to do something to the FI on this thing since I got the machine new and especially after changing the exhaust. Which map would I need, and please forgive me, what software/cable/hardware do I need to use it? Links to relevant threads would be helpful and appreciated (searching for this kind of information in the past has not been really productive for me, I'm sorry).

HCB, here is what I have gathered over the little time on this subject...
03-07 use different ECU's and are tuned with EcmSpy
08+ are tuned with TunerPro

I just looked and the only 09 XB12 maps that were on the site is a stock tune and a "custom" tune. Not sure what the "custom" tune is for.

I'm getting the distinct feeling that the tuning on these Buells is very much still a hands-on, manual process. Reading further indicates that installation of an additional O2 sensor for the second cylinder is necessary to tune properly, plus the use of wide-band O2 sensors is really needed to get the information logged accurately. All I hear in the reading is: Time, Money, Time, Money.
I'm going to go back to the drawing board on this. I'm seriously considering just selling the thing as I don't do any real hard-core sport riding and let someone who will use it for its intended purpose have it.
