I was using ecmdroid the last couple days to diagnose the rear o2 sensor cel. Cleared code and drove it and drove it the next day cel came back. Took out the buelltooth to plug it in and I no longer get the blinking blue led when paired to the phone. It seems like the unit is dead. Checked all the fuses and no luck. With the buelltooth in I get a blinking cel light about 3x fast. It goes away when I remove the unit from the cable.
I have a feeling that the unit died and causing a resistance like jumper to create that blinking cel. Any ideas what else i need to look for?
