Built my own exhaust...

Buellxb Forum

Help Support Buellxb Forum:

After the events of Friday a week ago...I am looking for somewhere to trade in the bike and have seriously depreciated the urgency with wich I have been persuing the exhaust thing. I have a second prototype nearly ready and it will be th one on the dyno, if I still have the bike in a week or so. The Dyno shop is slammed with work and cant fit me in for my modified factory can-vs-Tankenstien can this week. Will keep everyone in the loop.

Tank, would you be willing to give out the schematics for the pipe? Some of us would like to build a nice exhaust for our bikes.

I am not going to be able to get rid of my Buell, so I will resume efforts on the exhaust and hopefully have everything done (Dyno results, fly by sound recording, cost of materials, powdercoating and welding etc...) with a final cost and estimated availability by Christmas. All who are interested, just let me know and I will be planning ahead for al of you. Thanks

There sure are alot of people making their own exhausts these days. That takes alot of talent and probably alot of time so HOPEFULLY we will see something come of this soon.

that sound is fantastic!! i would love to know what kind of power increase there is. if any. if Tank is still working on this hit me up please.

The pipe is on the bike...going to the Dragon Friday thru Monday...strictly for the sake of science of course...and will let everyone who cares know about the results. If all goes well I will have a shot at the Dyno in a week and then maybe production will resume. Looks like about $550.00 for ceramic powdercoated versions...the #'s will tell the tale. Until next week then...

DAMN Tank...where you been! I havent seen you on here in almost a year. My CR needs a pipe, get these going.

Been hiding under a rock! It seems life just got in the way of everything else...but now I'm back to let you know I can really shake em down...sorry for bursting int song...Look for me on Killboy.com after this weekend...about to slap some freshly repainted skins in the old biatch! She will be all dressed up and looking for some fun. Pearl-metallic blue with red Buell grafics across her mid belly. maybe when I am done installing em in a few...I can post a pic or two.

Sounds great Tank. I would like to see pics when you have the finished product. I prefer the naked look on my bike so I don't have the bottom fariwing or chin spoiler. I am also looking forward to the dyno's numbers.

Noah and his girlfriend were killed in an accident in Portland Tennesee, when a man pulled out in front of them. They were both killed instantly. He rode a Buell and we're are having a motorcycle ride in their honor to raise funding for a billboard to raise awareness for motorcyle drivers/riders. email [email protected] or [email protected] for more information. Buell.com forum sent flowers to the funeral home and we appreciate you all thinking of our family. If you have any ideas on funding to help on the billboard please shoot us an email. The ride is Oct.2nd, registration at 12:30 in Portland Tennessee, at Victory Assembly Church -North Russell St. 15 per vehicle, cars/trucks/motorcycles welcomed!organizer: Jay McClain 615-325-3556

Thanks again,
