the gap might be normal look at the pics on this thread link upholstery shop may be able to add to the seat to fill it.

Great link! I am still disappointed... I should have the "final" product that cost $80 Not the original that cost $30. At least that is my opinion. I will wait ans see if they have a reply.

anrkizm95 thanks for all the help today

Looks good...I had some slight gaps with my spacers...not that bad though...I just ordered mine a month or two ago from diesel.

Thanks man! I am pretty disappointed w/ the quality...

I would think for $80 they would be spot on

I also had a very large gap.. Mine are gone now though.. Use a stepper drill bit or a regular drill bit and make the hole larger.. Do this in steps, to make sure the hole doesnt get too big. the reason for doing this is because the hole is not lined up correctly.. In doing this is will give the spacer the room to move down and set on the subframe so the bolt will still line up.. Fits very nice after this.. Will take some time to get it..

I didn't use a drill to begin w/. I was under the impression that they were plug an play. Do I need to drill and tap the top hole or widen then bottom hole?

No dont drill anything on the bike.. Drill the holes in the spacers.... It will allow the spacers to sit on the frame and the bolt will be able to move where it needs to without lifting the spacer off the frame

you brake res is different than anrkizms unless you swapped a s the battery was smaller to so i mounted the res in front of the batt. I would like to get a res off a lightning so it mounts like it should i dont know exactly what you need but then it would look like anrkizms.

Badtitan, I was referring to the spacer. You mean the bottom hole that has the bolt go in back wards correct?

bradski Thanks for the pictures I could use all I could get! Unfortunately it is POURING here and I cant play...

I had to drill the hile and do some grinding. An hours worth of work the get one side right. Disappointing
