Hello again!
So my bike never came with any passenger stuff so I don't know what it's supposed to look like. Just got the brackets and swapped in an old left peg (rider) on the the passenger, it seems fine. Is there anything I'm missing or a reason they're not compatible/swappable? I don't want put anyone in danger trying to save a few bucks. Searched and searched, couldn't seem to find any definitive answers.

Thanks

And....the answer is no. There's a detent on the bottom side of the passenger peg that coincides with a different spring and little ball bearing. The peg fits but i looks like it won't properly mate with a rider peg/spring combo.

I was gonna tell you that, because I tried that myself and even tried to drill them (I'm so cheap:rolleyes:) but the center clearance is a different dimension (trying to put pass pegs in the rider position, the hardware doesn't fit), and the angle is weird too.

But thanks for the pics:up:

Yeah, I'm Captain Cheapo as well. That's why I was wondering, I have 2 left side pegs + pins +springs just lying around. Seemed silly to buy 2 more when I had 1/2 a set.

34:19 - Bummer. I literally just ordered pegs & hardware last night. Funny how that works, I scoured the earth looking for a used set. Gave up, ordered new, and BOOM there they were all along. Oh well.

So everything is installed now. So jealous cuz older threads mentioned 'oh yeah, got a whole set off ebay for $50'.... That was then, this is now. Here's the breakdown circa 2020
Brackets, used, eBay:$110
Passenger pegs, new, St Paul HD/Buell: $55
All the little springs/plates: about $12
2 ball bearings: Free
Stainless steel bolts for mounting it: $15 (!)
So basically $200. Sheesh. I'm going to charge for rides now to pay this off.
