Can't get blast to start.

Got the new boot put on and got the bike to start and run but now the carb is being blown off somehow. Please help with this issue.
 
Carb cough is caused by a lean idle.

-Which boot did you get, Dan's or a stock one?
-If you got a stock boot, did you overtighten it? If you got Dan's boot, did you tighten it enough?
-Did you scrub the carb and manifold to make sure they're clean and smooth prior to assembly?

Did you get the idle circuit sprayed out good with carb cleaner? The idle circuit is the small, recessed jet. If you take the carb cleaner, using the straw, spray directly into the orifice (jet removed), you should see the spray coming out of some tiny holes in the bottom of the carb throat.
 
Had some very similar problems with the wife's blast. in this order

Removed carb (full disassembly and clean)
Drained fuel tank and cleaned fuel filter (the gas cap doesn't seat that well so water and other contaminants get it)
Replaced plug with NGK iridium
Re-assemble and fresh gas

Not sure which of these solved the problem but something did it.
 
Runs fine now but refuses to start without a small spray of starting fluid, any ways to solve it? I can't drive anywhere without worrying it won't start.
 
I hate to say it but if it's not starting easily then it's not running properly. It might be ride-able, but it's not correct.

Have you messed with the auto-enricher at all?
